Gnatweds got an anonymous comment today and I was tickled pink!

And I quote: "but urm...to blog about a lightening storm? Gee, it must be really boring where you are.."

Okay, okay, to be fair. It's a rather picturesque little mid-west town and the people are really friendly. But let's put it this way... you're not going to be sipping wine at an alfresco cafe or partying the night away at a hot new nightspot.

And yes, I actually baked another batch of muffins. Gene came home early so I got him baking the second round... he was naughty and put in a hot chili pepper into one of them. (They were meant for TK who complained about not getting any the first time)
Gene's theory is that it would - ahem, literally - spice up their lives.

It's a little like Russian Roulette, 19 of them are strawberry filled... but one.

BUT I didn't take photo of them either. Sorry anonymous.

However we do have pic of the meatballs I made for dinner...
