Back from Berlin
Just touched down a couple of hours ago from Germany.
We spent a week there - most of it in Berlin, but many hours zipping around the Autobahn, the Rhinelands, Potsdam and Cologne.
Will post more when am less groggy.
But a few FAQs will be answered first:
1. Why were you there?
Gene took the European exam and attended a conference. I was there for the beer. Grins. And it was a good break from work. We were there for about a week. (No, not enough time!)
2. Was it fun?
It was a BLAST. Surprisingly but yeah.
3. What's the best part?
Oh wow. There's so much to tell - majestic castles or Scholsses atop craggy peaks overlooking long winding roads; friendly people; a wonderful quirky hotel; the brilliant foodand even better beer.
