Crashing

This is a post about crashing... no not quite the car kind, have had enough of those thank you very much, but its about the amazing ability of the body to just fall asleep, even when you're willing for it to get up and go to the gym.

It's been a rainy day - one of those never-ending rain type ones, when the drops just simply don't quit. It's been a constant drizzle; and very humid of course. The frogs and/or toads in the estate landscaping ponds are going absolutely ape shit calling to each other. Think their mating season is on.

There is something to be said about cocooning oneself in a fluffy comforter, air conditioning turned on, and a curtain of rain pouring down outside the window. Extremely sleep inducing. *yawwwwn*

Was supposed to have brought mom and dad out to Sentosa tonight, but with the rain and all, we just went to Sebastien's - this french outlet in Greenwood Ave, instead.
Would have had Gene's fav Duck Confit but, am feeling a bit fat and bloated so (had multiple pratas and fish head curry laate at night after work)
So instead, had a brilliant salad nicoise. It's still good after these years.
Parking is, also as per normal, quite the bitch at Greenwood.

PS: Pple have been asking. Thanks. am perfectly okay, my car took the damage.
My wallet is also feeling it *grins*

But Gene gets back in about two weeks and erh, two days!
That also means that Vince and Yvonne have two weeks to the big wedding dinner;
And that I have two weeks to buy Dad a birthday present.

Alright... lets hope the next week is better - and more disciplined (gym-wise) for me!

You been tagged baby!!!!!! Pete and I am doing the "Five things to eat before you die" thing. Come post your top five "eats before the end" in our comments section. If the inevitable end point is death, lets share and enjoy the best gastronomical route there lah... Come, don't shy!
