See what I got for Christmas. Nope, no wine, no cookies, no food this year (and a couple of diaries) but someone sent me... a mini Christmas tree.
It even has a label saying its mine.
Stole some decorations from colleagues and tah dahhhhh...

How pathetic am I right?

Plus, the tree will prob die since I have abosolutely NO green fingers whatsoever. But for now, its cute!

The newsroom is insane right now with all the ads and bumper editions. Not thaaat fun with the added stress.
The bumper issues simply mean that its getting closer and closer to dec 25. But it also reminds me.... aaack, haven't done Christmas shopping for the moms and dads.

But we have decided to buy some gifts for some poor elderly folk with the Boy's Brigade Sharity Gift Box... It's actually very humbling when you realise that all they want is a pail, a mop and some washing liquid for Christmas. And these are 80 year olds...

Things like that kinda make you take stock.

So I have tried not to complain (too much) about our lives. And I actually will admit that I do enjoy my life and what I have.

I think many of us have to realise that we are far luckier and blessed than many others - yes, there's always someone ahead of you; but catching up really what you want to do? Cos hey, after you caught up, there's someone else ahead again.

So, anyway, just in case I don't manage to post again for the next few days. Merry Christmas everyone, and spare a thought for someone else this season ok?
