Party central?!?
Today, me and a friend mosey'd on down to Sentosa, and while KM8 on Tanjung Beach was sadly deserted and devoid of happening people (re: my post last year where all the beautiful people had 2 be there kinda thing), the new Cafe Del Mar (above) on Siloso beach was nice and populated by a tanned and lithe crowd. But it was not that crowded that we couldn't find seats.
And yes, all the women were in tiny Bikinis - I was waaay overdressed in my shorts and t-shirt.
Okay okay, actually not everyone was lithe... in fact some really really shouldn't wear tiny thong things. I can't help noticing stuff! I mean if you decide to wear tiny swim things (am talking about both the males and females) at a place so obviously set up for people watching, then, I mean, of course we the spectators are going to gossip. AND esp if you parade back and forth the area!
Let's just say that there was this chap in a tiny green speedo, and went he bent over to pick up his kid, I had to look away, and fast. Eugh.
The view from the patio, overlooking the pool. Great lounge/buddha bar-esque type music while we were there, chomping down on tres expensive salads and tapas. Sigh. We have great places to hang out in in Singapore. I just wish that I had more money to spend on them!
Yes... the money is going ... tah dah! the new apartment - some prelim pictures. Ooo. This could technically become our next party central?!?
Okay, right now, it really needs a little help... but I think we can whip up something with a few pretty lights and chairs and stuff... Hummmm. We'll see. If I can ever get down to wrapping my head around moving in that is. Sigh.
There isn't any leave/off days I can take to accomplish all this. Ah well... guess I'll just have to try to move in ever so slowly, bit by little bit until I have a halfway decent place. Anyone volunteering to help?
